A well-established international freight forwarding company is looking for an experienced Sales Manager (4+ years of freight forwarding sales exp) for its Detroit Office. In order to be qualified for this sales role, you must have 4+ years of sales experience at a freight forwarding company in the logistics industry. This Sales Manager position is to handle outside sales, inside sales and customer service for air, ocean, import and export at an international freight forwarding company. Also, this sales position to determine customers' needs, price schedules, and discount rates. In addition, this sales role is to maintain great business relationships with the existing and prospective customers, and to negotiate with them. This role is to prepare sales forecast and the other periodical reports, and submit them to Branch Manager. Finding new customers for import, export, air and ocean is an important part of this Sales Manager position at the international freight forwarding company. Some of the minimum qualification requirements: 4+ years of international freight forwarding sales experience (import, export, ocean and air) at a freight forwarding company. Existing business connections for import and export freight forwarding business. Able to work at Detroit Office Monday through Friday.

Note:

This is an on-site role. A valid US driver's license. Able to travel by car and plane for sales activities. Authorized to work in the US. Able to use MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Helpful foreign language:

Japanese. This isn't a requirement. Able to start in 2 weeks if you receive a job offer.

Salay:

up to $120,000/yr. max
