Job Description

Scheels Company Goals:

Overview:
The Logistics Associate will be responsible for committing to a professional, team environment, providing assistance to fellow associates, and facilitating freight from the freight room to its final destination, while providing world-class customer service.
Responsibilities:
Address and maintain organization of all fixtures, fixturing, and sign holders Maintain aisles for associates to walk down Address and maintain sold and paid areas. Call customers if the product has been in S&P for 7 days past the pick-up date When applicable fixturing may be transferred to and from offsite storage locations Sort pallets onto U-boats Consistently check the freight room throughout the day for any product that needs to be brought up Notify applicable associates (SSM, Merchandisers, ASLs) before transporting freight to the various departments Firearms are to be transported to the gun room immediately upon arrival Coordinate with the support team for assistance if an area receives a large quantity of freight Work to clear the freight room of all pallets each evening Coordinate scheduling with Shop Managers and support for builds/moves Establish product-clearing expectations before the date of the event Assembly/disassembly and movement of OPTO walls, Lozier walls, and Adams Racking Complete ownership of all wall-building materials on 1st level
Requirements:

Education & Experience:
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of a High School diploma, or General Education Degree (GED), one to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Lift 100 pounds. Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
