Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Non CDL Flatbed Hotshot Driver and take on an energetic role that keeps goods moving efficiently across routes! This position is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy hands-on work, and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As a key player in our logistics operation, you will be responsible for safely transporting various freight using a box truck or personal vehicle, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. Your proactive attitude and commitment to safe driving will help us maintain our reputation for reliability and excellence. You must have over two years verified experience job references will be caled and background checks done. OTR two weeks after that 5 days off. Must know how to pull fifth wheel and trabro trailers along with boats on trailers. I don't do east coast or California Responsibilities Safely operate a pickup truck with 20ft flatbed traileror personal vehicle for delivery and courier services, including flatbed hotshot loads. Load, secure, and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Follow established routes, plan efficient delivery schedules, and adapt to changing traffic conditions to meet delivery deadlines. Adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols during all driving and loading activities. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients upon delivery, addressing their needs professionally, and ensuring satisfaction. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are maintained; report any issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and shipment documentation using mobile devices or other digital tools. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or commercial truck driving with a focus on flatbed or hotshot operations. Warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting practices. Strong understanding of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently; familiarity with box trucks or similar vehicles is preferred. Excellent route planning skills with knowledge of route driving and adherence to traffic regulations. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients during deliveries. Experience working within warehouse operations or logistics environments involving manual handling and moving goods efficiently.
