Job Description

We are working with a freight forwarding logistics company near JFK Airport who is looking to hire an Export CSR on a temp to hire basis. This position will require some work in the warehouse along with office work. Hours are Monday-Friday 6a-2p fully on site
Export Position Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Data entry of up to 100 files per day Enter shipment information into the system Update shipment statuses, including shortages and damages Communicate shipment updates via email Label and examine freight Gather and organize shipping paperwork Prepare airline pouches Coordinate with company drivers regarding shipments and deliveries Communicate directly with customers regarding shipment activity Support general export department operations in a fast-paced environment
