In this role, you will drive new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and securing freight accounts from shippers across various industries. Your expertise in supply chain management, transportation planning, and logistics sales will be instrumental in expanding our customer base and strengthening our market presence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales skills and industry knowledge to build lasting relationships and deliver tailored transportation solutions that meet client needs. Duties Identify and generate new leads through targeted prospecting, cold calling, and networking within the supply chain and logistics sectors Develop strategic account plans to acquire new shippers, focusing on building long-term partnerships Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand client shipping requirements, including freight types, volume forecasts, and service expectations Present customized transportation solutions utilizing transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software, and industry best practices Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to secure profitable freight business. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients Maintain accurate data entry in CRM platforms to track lead progress, customer interactions, and sales pipeline status Skills Strong knowledge of supply chain management, transportation management systems (TMS), and logistics operations Proven experience in B2B sales within the freight or 3PL (third-party logistics) industry Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive customer relationships Familiarity with transportation planning, dispatching processes, and carrier operations Proficiency in CRM software for lead generation, data entry, and account management Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sales approaches for freight services Strong communication skills for inside sales activities including cold calling, presentations, and negotiations Knowledge of regulations related to specific cargo types is a plus but not mandatory Join us if you're driven to win, motivated by earning potential, and ready to build something meaningful in the logistics space, this is your opportunity.
