Job Description

Job Overview:
Big Rell Freight Carriers LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inbound Freight Receiver to join our growing logistics operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming freight shipments, inspecting deliveries, verifying shipping documentation, and ensuring products are accurately processed within the warehouse system. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive inbound freight shipments from carriers and delivery drivers Inspect incoming goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, manifests, and bills of lading Accurately enter shipment information into warehouse management systems Label, sort, and stage freight for storage or internal distribution Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely Maintain clean and organized receiving areas Communicate with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and supervisors regarding shipment status Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines at all times Assist with inventory counts and warehouse support tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations is an advantage Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Basic computer and data entry skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Forklift certification is a plus Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Pay:
$18.50 - $21.30 per hour
