JOB SUMMARY
Mexpress LLC is seeking self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and is able to multitask. This individual will be a frontline Operations Agent to address customer needs and inquiries. Provide support to internal and external customers needs with a proactive approach in a professional manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Processing and Manifest Execution. Notify customers and company stations of freight availability, capacity, status, cost and other important information. Will need to maintain knowledge of company services to assist with customer inquiries and book orders. Work and coordinate effectively with customer service team to ensure all shipment requirements are understood. Work and coordinate effectively with dispatch team and other parties, such as agents to ensure freight requirements are executed and on time. Work and coordinate effectively to assist warehouse team in handling various types of packaging materials and operating lift equipment to load and offload various types of trucks. Inspect freight for OSD, document with images and report to supervisor or manager. Obtain pieces, weights, dimensions internally or externally, and translating that information to transportation software. Ensure all backup paperwork/ documentation, reference numbers and requirements are attached appropriately. If any white glove service, ensure strong attention to detail to execute. Data entry. Read and interpret various forms of documentation, safety rules, tariffs, BOLs, MSDS, Inbond arrivals, etc. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Assist Management on daily KPI Reports when needed.
COMPETENCIES
Relevant experience can include cartage, transportation, moving companies, customer service, logistics, linehaul, intermodal, warehouse, ground operations and air/ocean dispatching. Forklift Certification (Preferred) Be able to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand, lift, squat for extended period of time- Requires good Physical Condition. Ability to follow verbal and written direction. MS Office program and transportation management software knowledge.
