In this vital role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of shipping and receiving operations for maritime freight. Your expertise will ensure that cargo is efficiently loaded, unloaded, and documented, maintaining seamless supply chain flow. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and proactive problem-solving are essential. As a Liner, you will play a key role in optimizing vessel schedules, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Duties Coordinate vessel schedules with port authorities, shipping lines, and internal teams to ensure timely arrivals and departures Manage the loading and unloading of cargo containers and freight, ensuring adherence to safety protocols Prepare and verify shipping documentation including bills of lading, manifests, and customs paperwork Monitor cargo handling operations to prevent damage or loss during transit or transfer Communicate proactively with carriers, port officials, and internal departments to resolve operational issues swiftly Maintain accurate records of shipments, container movements, and related activities for reporting and compliance purposes Assist in troubleshooting logistical challenges by analyzing data and proposing effective solutions Skills Strong understanding of maritime shipping procedures, documentation requirements, and port operations Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail in managing complex schedules and records Effective communication abilities for liaising with diverse stakeholders including shipping lines, port authorities, and internal teams Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Knowledge of safety standards related to cargo handling and maritime operations Proficiency in relevant software systems such as transportation management systems (TMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with customs regulations, container tracking technology, or logistics certifications Join us as a Liner to be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence in maritime logistics!
