This position requires a candidate who is proficient with digital tools and capable of balancing logistics oversight with high-quality administrative office assistance. Successful applicants will demonstrate technical competency in Microsoft Office, possess hands-on experience utilizing the three primary shipping carriers, and maintain a polished, professional demeanor when interacting with clients, transport personnel, suppliers, and colleagues. Operational Details Compensation is set at $25.00 per hour, with a standard shift running from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Please note that operational demands may occasionally require some flexibility in your daily schedule. Core Duties Oversee and organize all day-to-day logistics for incoming and outgoing freight. Execute and finalize parcel processing through UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Utilize Microsoft Office and digital platforms to ensure all shipping logs, communications, and files are kept up to date. Handle incoming telephone inquiries with a polite and professional manner. Record detailed messages and route calls to the correct staff members. Ensure recipients are informed of the caller's identity and the purpose of the inquiry whenever feasible. Facilitate clear communication between external partners, carriers, and internal staff to ensure smooth delivery operations. Manage the scheduling of freight pickups and incoming deliveries to optimize efficiency. Generate all necessary shipping paperwork, mailing labels, and associated documentation. Track active shipments to proactively address and mitigate any delivery complications. Organize and maintain precise records to support efficient office operations. Support the team by performing various general administrative tasks as required.
