The Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Chairman & CEO serves as a trusted strategic partner and execution leader, enabling the CEO and Leadership Team (LT) to operate with organization, discipline, and speed. The CoS is empowered to lead initiatives, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and accelerate decision-making. This includes direct engagement in merger and acquisition (M&A) activities. In addition, the CoS supports Board, and sponsor interactions, ensuring thorough preparation, actionable insights, and effective follow-through. This CoS will be required to collocate with the Chairman and CEO at least one week per month. This could either be at the Denver office or at another APTIM location.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Executive Enablement & Strategic Support Serve as a strategic advisor and operational partner to the Chairman & CEO, translating priorities into actionable plans and results. Support the CEO across a broad range of executive activities, including Board engagement, sponsor (Veritas Capital) interactions, earnings calls, gate reviews, and risk management initiatives. Lead the development of high-quality analyses, research, and executive-level presentations to inform decision-making. Prepare the CEO for internal and external engagements, including client meetings, project reviews, and public-facing events. Enterprise Execution & Leadership Team Effectiveness Drive execution of enterprise priorities and corporate initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact. Enhance accountability and decision-making velocity by coordinating and supporting interdisciplinary teams aligned to Leadership Team priorities. Facilitate Executive Leadership Team meetings, including agenda development, engagement of all participants, and management of action tracking and follow-up. Enhance and manage operating rhythms, dashboards, and performance tracking mechanisms to monitor progress and outcomes. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration Convene and support cross-functional teams comprised of Leadership Team members and subject matter experts to execute strategic initiatives. Promote alignment across business units and corporate functions, fostering a culture of ownership, urgency, and results. Engage directly with project teams and field operations through site visits and reviews to maintain connection to execution realities. Mergers & Acquisitions / Corporate Development Play a supporting role in M&A activities, including: Supporting the development of qualitative and quantitative analysis. Supporting and or coordinating due diligence efforts. Market Intelligence & Strategic Insight Analyze market dynamics, including competitive positioning, macroeconomic trends, and regulatory developments to inform corporate strategy. Provide insights that shape strategic planning, growth initiatives, and capital allocation decisions. Client, Business Development & External Engagement Support the pursuit of key growth opportunities through development of proposals and client presentations. Participate in client meetings and strategic account discussions to strengthen relationships and advance business objectives. Represent the business in internal and external settings. Culture & Organizational Engagement Support and participate in APTIM Employee Involvement Networks and key engagement initiatives.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience in consulting, engineering, environmental and infrastructure project delivery, investment banking, private equity, corporate development. Strong organizational skills Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen. Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders. Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Working knowledge or AI tools that enable valuable growth and delivery use cases.Leadership Attributes Strategic & Analytical:

Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
