Job Description
Lead a New Chapter in LeClaire! The YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley is seeking a dynamic, community-focused Branch Executive to lead the opening and ongoing operations of our new 45,000 sq ft LeClaire YMCA! This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture, programs, partnerships, and member experience of a brand-new community facility from the ground up. The Branch Executive provides strategic leadership for all branch operations, including membership growth, staff leadership, financial management, facility operations, community engagement, fundraising, and program development. This individual will serve as the face of the YMCA in LeClaire, building strong relationships that strengthen our mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Salary $70-$80k/annually What You'll Do Provide overall leadership and day-to-day management of the LeClaire YMCA. Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of staff and volunteers. Create an exceptional member experience that drives membership growth and retention. Develop and manage the annual operating budget while meeting financial goals. Oversee facility operations, safety, risk management, and quality standards. Build meaningful partnerships with schools, businesses, civic organizations, and community leaders. Lead annual fundraising efforts and cultivate donor and volunteer engagement. Ensure high-quality programs that meet the evolving needs of the LeClaire community. Represent the YMCA at community events and serve as a visible ambassador for the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, recreation, human services, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Five or more years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in nonprofit, recreation, hospitality, or community-based organizations. Demonstrated success in staff leadership, budget management, and operational oversight. Experience building community partnerships and leading volunteer engagement. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Passion for the YMCA mission and a commitment to serving diverse populations.
