Overview Veterans Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our independent Critical Access Hospital into its next chapter of growth and excellence. As the leader of a $60 million healthcare organization, the CEO is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and financial stewardship while fostering strong relationships with the Board of Trustees, physicians, employees, and the communities we serve. This role is ideal for a collaborative healthcare leader who is passionate about advancing rural healthcare, driving organizational success, and building a culture of excellence. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and guide the hospital's long-term vision. Partner with the Board of Trustees to achieve organizational goals. Oversee the operations and financial performance of a $60 million independent Critical Access Hospital, ensuring regulatory compliance and long-term sustainability. Promote a culture of quality, collaboration, accountability, and employee engagement. Build strong relationships with physicians, community leaders, and key stakeholders. Serve as the primary ambassador for Veterans Memorial Hospital. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. Executive leadership experience in healthcare, with hospital leadership experience preferred. Proven success in strategic planning, financial management, operations, and physician relations. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of Critical Access Hospitals and rural healthcare is highly desirable.
