Job Description
Job Overview Bochi Investments ("Bochi") is seeking an accomplished operating executive to join its Executive Partners Program and identify, acquire, and lead a profitable lower-middle-market company in the Pacific Northwest. The program pairs a select group of proven operators with Bochi's proprietary deal flow, capital, transaction expertise, and diligence resources. Our shared objective is to acquire a company that the Executive Partner will lead as CEO and meaningfully own alongside Bochi. Bochi focuses on investing in businesses typically generating $2 million to $10 million of EBITDA in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana, primarily across industrial and manufacturing, business services, and consumer goods and services sectors. Bochi originates and screens acquisition opportunities, allowing the Executive Partner to focus on evaluating businesses, meeting owners, and selecting the right company. Upon completion of an acquisition, the Executive Partner will become CEO, receive market-based compensation, and own a material piece of the Company's equity through purchased and incentive shares. This opportunity is designed for an experienced operator who wants their next chapter to be owning and leading a Pacific Northwest business—not simply accepting another executive position. Duties Work with Bochi to define an acquisition profile based on your operating experience, industry knowledge, and geographic preferences Evaluate qualified acquisition opportunities originated and screened by Bochi Participate in owner meetings, management discussions, site visits, and transaction diligence Assess each company's leadership team, operations, competitive position, financial performance, and growth opportunities Help develop the operating strategy and value-creation plan for a prospective acquisition Build trust with founders and family owners evaluating succession or a long-term partnership Upon closing an acquisition, assume the CEO role and full responsibility for the company's strategy, people, operations, and financial performance Build and lead a high-performing management team while preserving the company's culture, customer relationships, and legacy Work closely with Bochi and the company's board to execute the long-term growth plan Requirements At least 5 years of operating experience, including full P&L responsibility as a CEO, president, general manager, division leader, or comparable executive Demonstrated success growing revenue and profitability, improving operations, and building strong leadership teams Experience in industrial and manufacturing, business services, consumer goods and services, or a related real-economy sector Strong financial, strategic, organizational, and people-leadership capabilities Based in the Pacific Northwest or genuinely prepared to relocate and lead the acquired company in person Prepared to commit 4 to 8 years to owning and leading the business following an acquisition No existing acquisition target is required What Bochi Provides A complete capital solution, including equity and the arrangement of senior, seller, and mezzanine financing Full transaction support across valuation, structuring, financing, legal diligence, quality of earnings, insurance, environmental, and market analysis Market-based CEO compensation following an acquisition Meaningful ownership An experienced, engaged board and access to leaders throughout the Bochi portfolio Patient ownership without a predetermined requirement to sell the business Join us as we shape the future of a local organization where your leadership can truly make a difference!
