We are the leading voice for New Mexico's restaurant and foodservice industry. We drive prosperity across the food and beverage sector and strengthen communities, jobs, and the state economy through a thriving hospitality industry. We are searching for our next Chief Executive Officer — a bold, mission-driven leader ready to advocate, innovate, and inspire. This is not just a management position. It is a platform for shaping policy, building relationships, and making a lasting impact on one of New Mexico's most vital industries. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Serve as chief executive and public-facing leader of the Association Lead daily operations, staff leadership, and organizational culture Support board governance and serve as ex officio member of all committees Carry out strategic directives established by the Board of Directors Orient and support new Directors to ensure strong governance and engagement Financial Oversight Manage and safeguard Association funds and ensure sound financial controls Partner with the Treasurer and Finance Committee to oversee the annual budget and audit Prepare financial reports and meeting materials for Board and committee meetings Advocacy & External Relations Lead advocacy efforts before state and local government bodies Negotiate and engage with lawmakers, agencies, and public officials on behalf of the industry Represent NMRA in public, media, legislative, member, and community settings Build and sustain strong relationships with members, partners, board leaders, and public officials Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced, respected executive with a genuine passion for New Mexico's restaurant and hospitality community.
