The Springboro Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven leader who thrives in systems, process, and structure to serve as its next President & CEO. This is an opportunity to shape the future of a thriving business community, drive sustainable growth for nearly 700 members, and build strong relationships with members, investors, community partners, and regional stakeholders. What You'll Do Drive Strategy & Growth Execute a forward-thinking strategic plan focused on member value, community impact, and financial strength. Partner with the Board to set goals, KPIs, and long-term vision. Oversee Chamber events and programs to balance impact and revenue. Build Relationships That Matter Serve as the Chamber's primary ambassador and spokesperson. Strengthen partnerships with businesses, community leaders, and regional stakeholders. Foster an inclusive and welcoming culture. Grow & Engage Membership Lead initiatives that attract, retain, and deliver value to members. Oversee impactful programs and revenue-generating events. Lead a High-Performing Team Inspire, coach, lead, and empower staff. Foster a collaborative, positive, and accountable culture. Maintain clear organizational structures and workflows. Ensure Financial Strength Serve as CFO and direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Expand revenue through dues, sponsorships, and innovative programs. Embrace Innovation Leverage tools like GrowthZone and data insights to drive decisions. Explore AI and emerging tech to enhance operations. Promote a data-informed culture. Board Relations & Governance Serve as primary liaison to the Board of Directors. Collaborate with the Board Chair to set agendas and prepare reports. Ensure compliance with bylaws, policies, and applicable laws. What You Bring 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience (chamber, nonprofit, or similar) Proven success in growing organizations, leading teams, managing budgets, and growing revenue Strong communication, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills Experience in financial management and revenue development Comfort with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and data analytics (AI a plus) Bonus Points Bachelor's degree Knowledge of chamber best practices or economic development Familiarity with the Springboro/Greater Dayton business community Experience with a Chamber, non-profit or member organization What You'll Get Competitive salary PTO + comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, short-term disability) Retirement plan with match Professional development opportunities
