Full Job Description The Opportunity:
The President serves as the High School's top executive. The President will oversee the Head of School and work closely with those responsible for Admissions and the Internship program. This highly visible and externally focused role is responsible for advancing our mission, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring the school's continued growth and financial sustainability. Mission & Identity Champion and embody the school's identity and values while fostering an inclusive environment for students of all faiths. Promote values, social justice, and moral courage across the school community. Act as the public representative of the school, clearly conveying our vision to various audiences, including faith, business, philanthropic, and civic communities. Strategic & Operational Leadership Lead the development and execution of a multi-year strategic plan that aligns with the school's mission and vision. Manage all aspects of school operations: advancement, admissions, marketing, finance, facilities, and policy. Ensure financial sustainability by strengthening fundraising efforts, enhancing donor engagement, and building partnerships for student internships. Guide the school through anticipated growth Community Engagement & Advancement Forge and nurture partnerships with local businesses, higher education institutions, government entities, and community organizations to enhance student learning and internship opportunities. Serve as a visible leader at school and community events, fostering strong relationships with families, alumni, and external stakeholders. Organizational Development & Culture Inspire and motivate faculty, staff, and students to promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment that is sensitive to the backgrounds of our students and community. Collaborate with the Board of Trustees and school leadership to ensure effective governance and alignment with the organization's mission. Qualifications Master's degree or higher is required, and advanced degrees in education, business administration, nonprofit leadership, or related fields are strongly preferred. Evidence of leadership and success in outward-facing roles, such as fundraising, sales, or business development. Senior leadership experience in high school or comparable educational settings is preferred, but not a requirement. Demonstrated success in strategic planning, organizational management, and leading mission-driven organizations. A deep commitment to education, social justice, and serving diverse, under-resourced communities. Exceptional executive presence, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
