Chief Executive Officer In partnership with Lindauer, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska is seeking a. Chief Executive Officer. At a pivotal moment of organizational growth, this executive will guide strategy, operations, philanthropy, and community partnerships while ensuring families remain together during a child's serious illness. With demand for services at historic levels, an ambitious strategic plan underway, and regional healthcare expansion on the horizon, this is a rare opportunity to shape the future of an organization whose impact extends far beyond its walls. Position Requirements Provide visionary leadership for strategy, operations, financial stewardship, governance, and organizational growth while partnering closely with an engaged Board of Directors. Serve as the organization's principal fundraiser and ambassador, cultivating transformational relationships with donors, corporate partners, healthcare leaders, volunteers, and community stakeholders. Lead and inspire a talented team of staff and volunteers while fostering a collaborative, mission-driven organizational culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement. Advance the organization's strategic plan by expanding philanthropic revenue, strengthening key partnerships, and preparing
RMHC WWA
for future facility and program growth. Oversee financial management, operational excellence, and long-term planning to ensure sustainable growth and exceptional service for families throughout the region. Candidate Qualifications Demonstrated senior executive leadership experience within a nonprofit or similarly complex organization, with expertise spanning fundraising, strategic planning, communications, and board relations. Proven success growing philanthropic revenue through major and principal gifts, corporate partnerships, foundations, events, and other diversified funding strategies. Exceptional leadership and people management skills with a track record of building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing teams. Strong financial acumen, including experience overseeing budgets, forecasting, capital planning, and organizational operations. Outstanding relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with an authentic leadership style, strategic mindset, and deep commitment to serving children and families.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$240,000-$260,000, including a performance-based bonus. Comprehensive benefits include 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, plus a 401(k) with up to a 5% employer match. Generous paid time off, relocation assistance, employee assistance program, paid holidays, floating holidays, and paid sick leave.
