Yes A longstanding and respected private club in Tuscaloosa, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking General Manager to lead the club through an exciting revitalization and repositioning. This is a rare opportunity to oversee an established club with a strong membership base that is undergoing strategic enhancements to its facilities, programming, and overall member experience. The ideal candidate will bring steady leadership, operational expertise, and a clear vision to elevate the club into its next chapter.Key Qualifications:
Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader at a high-end private club or comparable hospitality organization Demonstrated success leading clubs through renovations, operational improvements, or cultural transformation initiatives Strategic, business-minded leader with strong financial and operational acumen Exceptional leadership, communication, and member-relations skills Ability to balance respect for club tradition with a progressive, service-focused mindset Track record of building high-performing teams and fostering a strong, hospitality-driven cultureResponsibilities:
Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for all club operations Partner closely with the Board of Directors to execute the club's revitalization strategy and long-term vision Collaborate with department heads to elevate service standards, operational efficiency, and the overall member experience Lead budgeting, financial oversight, capital planning, and performance management Oversee facility upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing improvements to align with the club's renewed positioning Drive membership growth, engagement, and retention initiatives Cultivate a culture of accountability, professionalism, and pride across all departments This role requires a visible, hands-on leader who can unify the team, engage the membership, and guide the club confidently through its next phase of growth and modernization.Similar jobs in Tuscaloosa, AL
