This opportunity is with Premier Vending & Food Services, one of those top-rated businesses, headquartered in Chandler, Arizona. Job Summary The General Manager is a key executive leader responsible for driving operational excellence, scalability, and profitability across all divisions, including micro-markets, vending, pantry, and Office Coffee Services (OCS). This role ensures seamless service delivery, operational efficiency, and superior customer satisfaction while aligning operational strategies with overall business objectives including a close link to sales. This fast-growing business demands a balance of office-based leadership and hands-on responsibilities, including installations. Responsibilities Leadership Provide strategic leadership for all operational functions within Premier Vending and Fresh & Easy Markets. Mentor and develop direct reports through coaching, performance reviews, and career development plans. Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for operational staff; support leadership development across the organization. Collaborate with HR to lead recruiting efforts for operational roles, ensuring top talent acquisition. Engage with sales to meet key customers, understanding customer KPIs, assessing how we are meeting those and taking corrective actions if needed. Operational Excellence Design and implement operational strategies that support growth, profitability, and customer experience. Lead and manage teams across Routes, Service, Warehouse, Procurement, and Installations to achieve performance goals. Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in partnership with Sales to meet and exceed customer expectations. Oversee daily operations for micro-markets, vending, and service divisions, ensuring efficiency and reliability. Optimize route structures, fleet utilization, and operational performance metrics to maximize profitability. Act as executive sponsor for operational technology platforms, driving adoption and innovation. Manage equipment maintenance programs, fleet compliance, and preventative maintenance schedules. Partner with Sales, Finance, and HR on cross-functional initiatives to align operational goals with company objectives. Lead and facilitate weekly leadership meetings to ensure alignment of priorities, performance, and company initiatives. Drive accountability within the leadership team, ensuring consistent execution of company goals and standards. Partner closely with the VP of Integration at Alliance to share insights, align on strategy, and implement best practices across operations. Working with sales leader to help maintain the relationships with the top customers to understand overall performance and ensure meeting customer needs. Financial & KPI Management Own and manage operational budgets, labor planning, and cost control measures. Drive achievement of operational KPIs, including route profitability, service response times, and customer satisfaction scores. Provide regular reporting and analysis to executive leadership on operational performance and improvement opportunities. Experience Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of operations leadership experience in vending, micro-markets, OCS, or retail or distribution industries. Proven track record of managing P&L and delivering financial results. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in operational metrics and continuous improvement. Industry technology platforms such as Parlevel, Cantaloupe, or similar systems are a plus. Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
