Type:
full-time Established, profitable, and expanding distributor of consumer products sold to hospitality and retail markets. Report to CEO, contribute on the executive team, and lead a team of 100+ employees. Overview of responsibilities and opportunities to contribute are:
Operations Management :
Lead multi-shift, high volume B2B distributor from purchasing, order management, and demand planning through shipping, logistics, and inventory optimization serving Northeast markets
Strategy & Planning :
As part of the executive team, develop & implement short- and long-term goals to support organic growth, quality service, and EBITDA gains
Process Improvement :
Identify & lead opportunities to improve productivity and quality of performance as well as cost saving (e.g., order processing, routing, inventory management, new capital equipment, automation)
Leadership :
Need to raise the bar on training and communications to achieve objectives. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration & operational excellence
Financial Oversight :
Manage operations budget and KPI performance
Risk Management :
Identify potential risks to operations and develop mitigation strategies
Customer Satisfaction :
Ensure operations is aligned with customer expectations
REQUIREMENTS
: Bachelor's degree; MBA or Six Sigma certified preferred. Seek an accomplished lead by example, best practices Operations Director or VP coming from a medium to high volume distributor (e.g., food, beverage, consumer products) serving hospitality and retail customers. Must have strong process improvement, problem solving, decision making, communications and leadership skills. Local candidates preferred; no relocation assistance offered.
REWARD :
$180,000 to $200,000 DOE plus 30% bonus, and excellent benefits
