We are a Fast-growing, Miami-based general contractor specializing in luxury high-end residential and mixed-use development is seeking an accomplished construction executive to lead operational excellence and drive project delivery across multiple large-scale Class A luxury condo and mixed-use properties. This role oversees all field operations, team leadership, and execution from pre-construction through certificate of occupancy, ensuring exceptional quality, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget across South Florida's most competitive developments.
Responsibilities:
Lead all phases of construction operations for multiple Class A luxury residential and mixed-use projects, from pre-construction planning through completion and closeout. Manage field operations, project scheduling, resource allocation, and construction execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining Winmar's luxury reputation. Oversee operational strategy, budgeting, estimating, cost controls, contract negotiations, and P&L performance across all active projects. Drive project schedules, site development, permitting strategy, construction execution, safety compliance, and project closeout. Build, lead, and mentor high-performing operational and field leadership teams; foster strong vendor and subcontractor relationships. Champion safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance and Florida Building Code adherence across all jobsites. Partner with design teams, architects, engineers, and consultants on value engineering, cost efficiency, and quality control. Travel to active project sites regularly (50-75% field time) to oversee operations and ensure execution standards. Qualifications:
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in residential and mixed-use construction operations, including executive-level oversight of multiple large-scale projects. 7+ years of senior operational or construction management experience on Class A mid-rise (podium/wrap) and high-rise luxury residential development projects. Proven success managing multiple large-scale projects ($50M-$100M+) from concept to completion, on time and within budget. Strong background in operational strategy, workforce planning, process improvement, site development, and value engineering. Demonstrated expertise in scheduling, risk management, quality control, and construction means and methods. Proficient with Procore and modern construction technology and software. Strategic, hands-on leader with exceptional problem-solving, team-building, and communication skills; ability to influence executive stakeholders and project teams. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred). Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing luxury high-rise condominiums, podium-style mixed-use, or Class A multifamily development in South Florida. Familiarity with Miami-Dade and Broward building codes, local permitting, and South Florida market conditions. Knowledge of GMP contracts, cost-plus arrangements, contract negotiation, and construction legal frameworks. Bilingual English/Spanish.
