VP OF OPERATIONS
Diesel Pro Power | Miami, FL | Full-Time | In-Office Only $140,000 Base + Performance Bonus |
Realistic OTE:
$180K-$220K+ THE
OPPORTUNITY
Diesel Pro Power is a Miami-based global e-commerce company shipping diesel engine parts to 180+ countries. We are hiring a VP of Operations to drive disciplined, systems-driven execution across every department — and to ensure the business scales with profitability, operational predictability, and minimal founder dependency. This is not a policy-and-procedure corporate role. It is a hands-on operational leadership position inside a high-accountability, high-ownership company. You will work directly with the CEO to translate vision into consistent execution through systems, cadence, and follow-through.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Operational cadence and weekly execution rhythm Departmental accountability and KPI visibility Cross-functional execution and SOP enforcement CRM compliance and workflow discipline Root-cause problem solving and recurring issue elimination Workflow automation and AI-enabled systems improvement Departments in scope: customer service, purchasing, accounting coordination, warehouse, shipping & receiving, shop operations, and marketing coordination.
WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will lead: Leadership scorecard and accountability reviews Issue-solving cadence (IDS / root-cause discipline) KPI reviews and follow-up ownership tracking Operational priority alignment across departments You will ensure: Deadlines are met and issues are resolved without CEO intervention Accountability is visible and workflows are documented Recurring problems are eliminated at the root — not managed repeatedly Operational surprises become rare
AI-LEVERAGED OPERATIONS
We are building an AI-leveraged operating company. We are not looking for someone who simply uses AI tools. We want an operator who instinctively searches for leverage, automation, and scalability through systems and AI-enabled workflows — someone who consistently asks: How do we reduce operational friction here? What can be automated? How do we improve visibility and reduce manual dependency? How do we make execution more reliable through systems — not heroics?
YOU WILL THRIVE HERE IF YOU ARE
Deeply curious and systems-minded Highly organized and operationally intense Proactive and execution-oriented by nature Calm under pressure and effective at enforcing accountability Driven toward root-cause thinking — not symptomatic fixes Comfortable operating without layers of support
THIS ROLE IS NOT THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU
Wait to be told what to do Avoid accountability conversations Prefer corporate process over hands-on execution Repeatedly solve the same problems without fixing root causes Are more interested in strategy than in making things actually work
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Bachelor's degree Proven operational leadership experience inside a scaling business Strong written and verbal communication High ownership mentality and strong systems orientation Strongly Preferred EOS / Traction Integrator experience KPI and scorecard management SOP implementation and documentation Experience building AI operational workflows (not just using AI tools) Background in distribution, logistics, or process-heavy operations
