POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Vice President of Operations, the District Executive Director manages the overall operations of multiple Family Centers, including staff and programs. The District Executive Director supervises, develops and implements a full range of services including Membership, Wellness, Aquatics, Sports and Family Programs, Facilities Management, Scholarship and Board Development.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; degree in business, management, operations, sport management, or a related field preferred. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of five or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in YMCA operations, including financial management, membership growth and retention, program management, fundraising, facility operations, and community engagement. Strong budget and financial management acumen; experience building and forecasting budgets. Experience working with nonprofit Boards of Directors and volunteer leadership required. Strong leadership, coaching, communication, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams and manage multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business technology applications.
