We offer best in the class industry benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Life Insurance 401(K) Retirement Plan with company match Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off Ongoing training and development Reward and Recognition Programs About the Role The AVP of Operations | Treasury Management Specialist is responsible for managing the financial institutions and commercial clients' operational needs to the organization's cash flow and liquidity, ensuring efficient treasury operations, and supporting financial reporting. This role requires a keen understanding of financial instruments, banking operations, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Open new checking, savings, and analysis accounts, process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments and ensure accurate record-keeping. Execute cash management transactions including wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other payment activities for the business unit. Monitor daily cash positions and forecast cash needs, including bank account reconciliation and transaction processing. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. Ensure all banking operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, including CIP information. Maintain detailed records for auditing and regulatory purposes. Following anti-fraud measures, identifying suspicious transactions, and protecting bank assets. Identify new business opportunities, cross-selling banking products, and expand the bank's commercial client base. Advise clients on suitable financial products while identifying opportunities to expand customer relationships. Offer guidance on cash flow management, investment opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies to help clients make informed business decisions. Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures and new product launches. Research economic trends, regulatory updates, and investment opportunities to inform treasury strategy. Assist with system implementation projects to improve automation and efficiency. Prepare accurate financial reports and cash flow forecasts for management and stakeholders. Management and training of staff members Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury operations or financial management is preferred. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent skills to build trust, maintain client relationships and collaborate with colleagues. Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of banking regulations and financial instruments. Understanding of commercial banking products, services, and market trends.
