Vista Senior Living Management i s the dedicated senior living division of our organization, focused exclusively on the operation and growth of senior living communities. With more than 30 communities across multiple states, we specialize in Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living. Sugar Grove Senior Living, a well-established and a trusted provider in the assisted living and memory care space located in Plainfield, IN, and a proud member Vista Senior Living Management, is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the overall operations and performance of our Assisted Living (AL) and Memory Care (MC) campus. This leadership role oversees two separate buildings located on one campus and is responsible for ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and strong team engagement across both communities. The ideal candidate is a resilient, hands-on leader who can confidently manage a diverse workforce while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and service excellence. The Executive Director will oversee daily operations, support staff development, build positive relationships with residents and families, and help drive the continued success, stability, and growth of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations Management Oversee the daily operations of the community to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices. Provide leadership, direction, and support to all staff members, fostering a positive and productive work culture. Develop and implement strategic goals to improve services and achieve organizational objectives. Resident Care & Satisfaction Regularly engage with residents and their families to ensure satisfaction and promptly address concerns. Continuously assess residents' needs and create programs and services that support independence and well-being. Uphold and enhance the quality of life for residents by maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Regulatory Compliance Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including housing and landlord-tenant laws. Conduct audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to all licensing and accreditation requirements. Staff Development Recruit, train, and supervise a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed. Provide regular performance feedback and opportunities for professional growth. Community Engagement & Partnerships Build and maintain relationships with local agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations. Promote the community and establish a positive presence and reputation. Budget Management Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial health and resource optimization. Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality services.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience as an Executive Director. Needs to be comfortable with IL, AL, and MC. Needs to have a license or working on getting a license (provisional). Strong understanding of housing laws, senior care regulations, and compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and inspire a positive workplace culture. Experience working with senior populations and understanding their unique needs. Strong financial and sales acumen. Self-motivated, energetic, and committed to delivering exceptional service. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. #INDSGLead
