This role has full profit and loss responsibility for the service business and is accountable for driving growth, operational performance, customer retention, and team development across repair, preventive maintenance, and special projects. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, multi-trade service leadership experience, and the ability to align sales, operations, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership for mechanical service operations with full accountability for safety, customer outcomes, and financial performance.
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve revenue growth, EBIT targets, market expansion, and long-term customer retention.
  • Partner with sales leadership to grow existing accounts, secure new business, and expand service offerings across the territory.
  • Lead service execution for maintenance agreements, repair work, and special projects to ensure quality, responsiveness, and contract performance.
  • Monitor and improve key operating metrics including technician productivity, utilization, completion rates, response times, renewal rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive scheduling, dispatch, and resource optimization best practices to improve labor efficiency and service delivery consistency.
  • Maintain strong executive-level customer relationships through technical credibility, proactive communication, and dependable follow-through.
  • Prepare forecasts, manage budgets, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to deliver plan performance.
  • Build, develop, and hold accountable a high-performing team through clear expectations, coaching, and performance management.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Represent the company in industry associations, trade events, and local market activities to strengthen visibility and business development. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; or equivalent leadership experience in MEP service operations.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial service operations.
  • Demonstrated success with P&L management, team leadership, and operational execution in a service environment. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading multi-trade commercial service operations.
  • Strong financial and operational management skills, including forecasting, KPI management, and margin improvement.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, service sales, and field service management platforms.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills within a matrixed organization.
Pay:
$115,000.00
