Details about the Vice President of Operations position we are hiring for: The Vice President of Operations provides leadership and guidance to Regional Directors of Operations, Executive Directors, and other operational leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, innovation, and resident-centered care. Extensive travel to communities across the East Coast is required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, Gerontology, nursing, or related field required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 7-10 years progressive leadership experience in a retirement, nursing home, or assisted living industry. Must be licensed in good standing if required by the State Licensing Authority. Proven success managing financial performance, occupancy growth, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance. Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, State hospitals and general public. Must have experience overseeing multiple communities. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, team development, and succession planning skills. Strong analytical, financial management, and strategic planning capabilities. Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly. Must maintain a valid driver's license and ability to drive extensively. Must pass health and background check requirements.
