PM Essential Functions:
Manage daily operations of the Wire Transfer, Instant Payments, and International business units to ensure timely and accurate processing while adhering to internal policies and external regulations Develop and implement strategies for electronic payment operations overseeing cross-border transactions, ensuring compliance with domestic and international banking standards, and managing relationships with correspondent banks Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and other regulatory standards while monitoring and mitigating risks related to wire transfers Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction by implementing best practices and leveraging technology to streamline operations Resolve complex wire transfers issues while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Prepare and present reports on, quality and performance metrics, and operational challenges to senior management using data to drive decision-making and strategic planning Partner with third-party vendors and financial institutions to ensure seamless integration and operation of wire transfer systems and services Lead, mentor and motivate team members to implement the department strategy and manage department workflow with guidance on departmental projects/issues, and provide coaching and development opportunities appropriate to each direct report's individual needs Perform all necessary management functions, including hiring, evaluations, annual increase allocations and disciplinary action as required Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members effectively Support budget management, planning and expenditure Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Strong knowledge of the wire transfer systems, international and instant payment networks, and regulatory requirements, including knowledge of best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply discretion and sound judgement to efficiently and effectively solve problems Ability to drive results and balance management of organizational risk and meeting goals of the business Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate team members and foster a positive team environment that gives way to collaboration and unified goals Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required 6+ years financial operations experience required 3+ years leadership/supervisory experience required 3+ years wire operations and payments preferred Experience in relevant software and tools, including financial systems, payment systems and reporting software preferred- For individuals applying, assigned and/or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles.
