Job Summary:
We are adding a Regional Director of Operations to lead the operations of our Geriatric Residential Care communities within the mid-west around Missouri. This is a leadership role, you will be responsible for operational excellence ensuring high-quality care while monitoring regulatory compliance and financial performance across all assigned communities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for senior care and a proven track record of success in multi-site management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and operational oversight for multiple Senior Care communities, ensuring adherence to standards and state regulations. Oversee resident care programs, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Support and mentor Executive Directors and community leadership teams in achieving operational goals. Manage recruitment, training, and retention efforts for community leadership teams. Be a liaison between the corporate office and community leadership, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders. Ensure regulatory compliance by staying updated on industry regulations and conducting audits and inspections. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and growth within the communities. Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth. Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, resident satisfaction, and staff engagement.
Qualifications:
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in multi-site management within the senior care or residential care. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications. Ability to work independently while collaborating with corporate leadership. Strong knowledge of long-term care and senior care regulations and best practices. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field. Proven financial management skills, including budgeting and P&L oversight. Ability to travel regularly between communities within the assigned region.
