POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall leadership and administration of the Bank's deposit operations team members. Ensures efficient, compliant, and customer-focused processing of all deposit-related activities, including transaction processing, account maintenance, electronic banking, and treasury support functions. Directly impacts client experience, regulatory standing, operational efficiency, and fraud loss mitigation.

  • Manages deposit operations functions including ACH, wire transfers, check processing and remote deposit capture, account maintenance, debit card and ATM operations, and online and mobile banking support.
  • Ensures timely, accurate, and efficient processing of all transactions and back-office functions.
  • Ensures full compliance with all applicable regulations including maintaining and enhancing internal controls.
  • Partners with all areas on audits, exams, and issue remediation.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Supports system enhancements or upgrades.
  • Maintains procedures and documentation for all operational processes.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops operations team members.
  • Fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Ensures high-quality internal and external customer service.
  • Contributes to the development of operational strategic goals and objectives.
  • Performs all duties as assigned by the SVP/Director of Retail Operations of which the position is qualified.
  • Other duties as appropriately assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of banking operations experience with a strong focus on deposit operations.
  • 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of deposit operations, payment systems, and related regulations.
  • Experience with core banking systems and digital banking platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Cheerful outlook and willingness to be a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and independent judgment.
  • Ability to support, develop, coach, train, and mentor a team.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deposit Operations team members.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, operate a computer keyboard and mouse, reach at or below shoulder level, lift up to 25 lbs., and perform light pushing/pulling. Close vision is required for computer work. The work environment is moderately noisy and may require occasional standing or walking between workstations. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Pay:
$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
