The Vice President of Payroll Operations is responsible for the overall management and processing of employee payroll and related system/administrative functions to ensure accurate, timely and reporting of all wage and tax data in accordance to Federal and State regulations for 33,000+ team members of the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) Network. Manages the system configuration of all payroll-related modules; develop and design both process and systemic solutions to improve efficiencies within the payroll department and support operational needs.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Fifteen or more years of management experience within recruitment, performance management and budget responsibilities, including experience in a multi-state environment with an in-depth, functional knowledge of payroll processing for multiple companies and complex pay practices. Strong working knowledge of all federal and state regulations to ensure accurate wage and tax reporting. Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS/Payroll tables and functionality to facilitate and implement system improvements, understand and test all system upgrades, patches and Tax Updates.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Degree in Accounting or Business Management.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
