Job Description

Job Title:
VP of Dental Operations (Scaling to 20+ Locations)
Location:
Tri-State Area / Regional (Midtown NYC / New Jersey / Brooklyn)
Position Type:
Full-Time /
Executive Comp Structure:
Competitive Base + High-Upside Performance Bonuses / Equity Potential About Us We are a fast-growing, high-performance dental group with thriving multi-location practices across New York and New Jersey. We don't just run dental offices; we build efficient, patient-centric, high-revenue engines. We are aggressively expanding and are on a mission to scale our footprint to 20+ locations over the next three years To get there, we need a true operational heavyweight. We are not looking for a passive caretaker; we are looking for a
  • Rockstar VP of Dental Operations
  • who thrives on strategic friction, rapid scaling, and building world-class teams.
  • The Mission
  • As our VP of Operations, your primary directive is to turn our ambitious expansion vision into a highly predictable reality.
You will bridge the gap between high-level vision and daily execution. You will build, pressure-test, and optimize the operational infrastructure, playbooks, and leadership teams required to scale from our current multi-office footprint to a dominant 20+ location regional brand. Key Responsibilities Scale the
Footprint:
Standardize and execute the operational playbook for rapid de novo openings and/or acquisitions, ensuring new locations achieve profitability ahead of schedule.
  • Optimize the
Engine:
  • Audit and refine daily operations across all offices—including front desk workflows, scheduling matrices, billing/insurance protocols, and procurement—to maximize efficiency and EBITDA.
  • Drive KPI Accountability:
  • Own the numbers. Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (reappointment rates, case acceptance, production per hour, labor percentages, and marketing ROI).
  • Build & Lead Elite Teams:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing regional management team. Implement rigorous, value-driven training programs and incentive structures for Treatment Coordinators, Office Managers, and support staff.
  • Maximize Capacity & Scheduling:
  • Mastermind scheduling matrices to optimize doctor and hygienist production while minimizing last-minute cancellations and open chair time.
  • Culture & Alignment:
  • Maintain a cohesive, high-energy culture across all locations that aligns with our core values of clinical excellence, extreme accountability, and patient satisfaction.
  • What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
  • Proven Scaling Experience:
  • 5+ years of executive-level operational leadership in a fast-growing Dental Support Organization (DSO) or multi-site healthcare group.
  • Must have direct experience scaling a group from single digits to 20+ locations.
  • The "Hormozi"
Mindset:
  • You understand the philosophy of leading with value, eliminating operational waste, and leveraging strategic friction to drive sales and treatment acceptance.
  • Data-Driven DNA:
  • You manage by metrics, not by feel. You can look at a P&L or a dashboard and immediately diagnose the operational bottleneck.
  • Master Recruiter & Culture Builder:
  • You know how to spot talent, build training frameworks, and inspire teams to hit aggressive targets.
  • Systems Architect:
  • You don't just manage systems; you build them. You have deep experience establishing SOPs that allow offices to run autonomously without sacrificing quality.
  • Willingness to
Travel:
  • Frequent regional travel between practices (NYC, Brooklyn, New Jersey) to keep a pulse on the ground and support your local teams. ###
  • What We Offer
  • Autonomy & Impact:
  • You will have a seat at the table and the authority to make critical decisions that shape the future of the company.
  • Aggressive Compensation:
  • A strong base salary paired with a heavy performance-based bonus structure that rewards you directly for growth and profitability.
  • Expansion Perks:
  • Potential for equity/phantom equity as we hit milestone growth markers.
  • Resources to
Win:
  • A visionary ownership team, solid financial backing, and high-intent marketing engines already in place to feed the growth. ###
  • How to Apply
  • If you are a builder who wants to own the operational expansion of a rapidly growing group, we want to talk to you.
Submit your resume along with a brief breakdown of the most significant multi-site scaling project you have personally led.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
