Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee daily fleet operations, drive strategy, optimize route efficiency, and scale our logistical capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a data-driven mindset, and extensive experience in managing complex business operations at an executive level. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of operational strategies that support organizational growth and efficiency. Develop operational strategies to improve cost efficiency, fuel usage, and transit times. Ensure company-wide compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and safety regulations. Lead and mentor dispatchers, safety managers, and administrative staff. Monitor key operational metrics (CPM, RPM, deadhead miles, driver retention). Qualifications and Requirements 5+ years of hands-on leadership experience in transportation, trucking, or 3PL logistics. Deep understanding of
FMCSA/DOT
regulations, dispatch software (TMS), and fleet management. Strong background in operational excellence initiatives, change management, and large-scale organizational change management. Strong leadership qualities with supervising experience in fast-paced environments; adept at managing cross-functional teams for optimal results.Benefits Annual Salary:
