Sr VP of Membership & Wellness

The YMCA is seeking an exceptional Senior Vice President of Membership & Wellness to spearhead our mission-driven work across the entire Association. This is more than a leadership role — it is an opportunity to shape how thousands of community members achieve their goals, build meaningful relationships, and find a true sense of belonging. Reporting directly to the COO, this senior executive will set the strategic direction for Membership and Wellness across all YMCA locations, driving innovation, operational excellence, and deep community impact.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred, with 10+ years of senior leadership experience in multi-site operations. Minimum 5 years of progressive membership leadership with a proven record of driving measurable growth in acquisition and retention. Equivalent experience in Wellness considered. Proven ability to lead large-scale change and drive measurable organizational impact. Deep fluency in AI, CRM platforms, and data analytics — with the ability to translate membership trends into actionable strategy and results. Strong financial and business acumen, including budget oversight, resource development, and partnership building. Proven success developing leaders and advancing inclusive, human-centered leadership across diverse teams and communities.
