Job Description
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Vice President of Operations serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all YMCA branches and program operations. Working closely with the President & CEO, this position drives organizational performance, develops leaders, ensures operational excellence, and advances association-wide priorities to achieve mission impact and long-term sustainability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in YMCA, nonprofit, multi-site, or service-based organizations. Proven experience leading multiple locations, departments, or business units. Demonstrated success developing leaders and building high-performing teams. Strong understanding of budgeting, financial management, and operational performance metrics. Experience leading organizational change and strategic initiatives. Ability to utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and operational improvement.
