HYBRID OPPORTUNITY
Hybrid Role - 3 days on-site, 2 days remote Candidates who provide a cover letter will be reviewed first. Base Salary $175K-$200K Good benefits plus profit-sharing opportunities We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and execution-focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead operational excellence across our fast-growing promotional products organization. The COO will oversee day-to-day operations, including supply chain, sourcing, fulfillment, warehousing, and technology platforms, while driving scalability, efficiency, and profitability. This executive will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to transform operations into a best-in-class platform supporting enterprise clients, e-commerce company stores, onboarding programs, recruiting kits, and branded merchandise initiatives.Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1.) Provide Independent Operations leadership for the following non-sales and non-marketing teams, including: Warehouse, E-commerce, Procurement, and Accounting. Own operational P&L performance and margin optimization for each team. Align each team's operational strategy with company growth objectives. Recruit for all open positions across these teams, and identify and mentor operational leaders as the company scales. Role model and promote a culture of innovation, ownership, responsibility, and operational excellence. Report on and coach teams to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs and OKRs. Oversee our global vendor network, product sourcing strategy, and rebates program. Manage outside 3PL partnerships and/or secondary owned warehouse operations. Develop contingency and risk mitigation strategies Provide updates, reporting, and metrics directly to the CEO. Examples include, but are not limited to: Department job costing Monthly, quarterly, annual individual and team goals Overall and department P&Ls (GP and OH) with recommended improvements Individual and department KPIs and OKRs Report on warehouse performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement. Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. 2.) Manage the technology stack (Shopify, Internal proprietary OMS, NetSuite WMS/Accounting/Integrations) for efficiency and effectiveness, and ensure scalability for future growth. Collaborate with technology teams to enhance the profitability, automation, and scalability of client internal and external stores and integrations. Improve operational data visibility and reporting analytics across all platforms. Support digital transformation initiatives across operations Scope and manage NetSuite upgrades and modulesQualifications:
At least 5 years of warehouse leadership experience in pick/pack, kitting, and packaging. Demonstrated senior leadership of multi-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, warehouse, and e-commerce at a successful promotional products company. Proven success scaling operational infrastructure in a successful and growing promotional products company. Strong technology background and experience managing/onboarding one of the major cloud-based software solutions , such as Salesforce, Oracle, or preferably NetSuite. Helped create or onboard a proprietary internal technology OMS Demonstrated financial leadership with end-to-end P&L responsibility, including strategic financial planning, forecasting, pricing strategy, operational cost management, cash flow oversight, and data-driven decision-making to improve profitability and scalability.
