Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies, lead process-improvement projects, and build scalable systems that drive productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth at national, regional, and local levels.
What you will do:
Develop and execute an operational strategy aligned with SMC's goals and values to drive growth and efficiency Identify and evaluate new operational opportunities through research, data analysis, and market insights Lead end-to-end execution of initiatives, including scoping, resource planning, timelines, risk management, and performance tracking Partner cross-functionally (Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance) to ensure successful implementation and alignment Analyze and optimize processes and franchise workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction Use data and KPIs to inform decisions and measure initiative impact Drive change management to ensure successful adoption of new processes and initiatives Manage external partners and vendors, including contract negotiation and performance oversight Lead and inspire a team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster growth and career development. What you will bring : At least 8-10 years' experience in business operations management, consulting , and/or project management required Bachelor's degree in business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; Master's degree preferred People Management experience preferred Strong understanding of franchising and franchisor requirements Experience with multi-unit franchise operations or small business ownership preferred Executive presence with strong public speaking and facilitation skills Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills Strategic, innovative, and analytical thinking abilities Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 35%, including overnight
Work Location :
This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S., excluding Los Angeles County.
Compensation :
Pay ranges at SMB are designed to reflect skills, experience, and business needs. The range shown excludes location-based adjustments, and most new hires start below the top of the range. For this role, the estimated range starts at $150.000
