The Wichita Falls NetBurners are seeking a highly organized and dependable Vice President of Business Operations to oversee the team's day-to-day administrative and operational functions. The Vice President of Business Operations will serve as a senior leader within the organization and work closely with the Team President, CEO and department leaders to ensure that the NetBurners operate efficiently throughout the season. This individual will help turn organizational plans into action, keep departments aligned and ensure that important deadlines, game-day responsibilities and business commitments are completed.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Operations Oversee the team's day-to-day business and administrative operations. Assist the Team President with implementing organizational plans, policies and procedures. Maintain the team's master calendar of games, practices, events, appearances and important deadlines. Coordinate communication between the front office, basketball operations, marketing, partnerships and game-day personnel. Track departmental assignments and follow up with staff members to ensure deadlines are met. Assist with preparing internal reports, meeting agendas and operational updates. Help identify operational problems and recommend practical solutions to the Team President. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling internal organizational matters. Game-Day Operations Attend all NetBurners home games unless excused in advance by the Team President. Assist with developing and executing the game-day operational plan. Coordinate with venue representatives, vendors, volunteers and team personnel. Help confirm that staffing, equipment, sponsor activations and operational areas are prepared before doors open. Monitor game-day operations and assist with resolving issues as they arise. Participate in pregame and postgame staff meetings. Help complete a postgame report identifying successes, problems and necessary follow-up actions. Sponsorship and Revenue Support Identify and contact potential sponsors and business partners. Present approved NetBurners sponsorship opportunities to prospective partners. Assist with sponsorship proposals, follow-up communication and closing agreements. Coordinate with the appropriate team representatives to ensure sponsorship agreements are properly documented. Help track sponsor deliverables and ensure that the organization fulfills its commitments. Support ticket sales, group sales, merchandise and other approved revenue-generating initiatives when needed. Leadership and Staff Coordination Serve as a senior member of the NetBurners leadership team. Support the Team President in holding departments accountable for assigned responsibilities. Lead operational meetings when requested. Help onboard and coordinate seasonal staff, interns and volunteers. Promote a professional, collaborative and solutions-focused working environment. Represent the NetBurners at approved meetings, community events and business functions. Perform additional duties assigned by the Team President orCEO. QUALIFICATIONS
Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Dependable and available during NetBurners home games and major organizational events. Comfortable communicating with executives, staff members, vendors, sponsors and community partners. Capable of working independently while following the direction of senior leadership. Experience in sports, events, business operations, administration or project management is preferred. Familiarity with Wichita Falls and the surrounding business community is beneficial. Must represent the NetBurners and Next Play Nation, Inc. professionally.COMPENSATION
The Vice President of Business Operations will receive: $500 per month for five months during the designated NetBurners season. Total guaranteed seasonal stipend of $2,500. Fifteen percent commission on new cash sponsorships personally sourced and successfully sold by the Vice President of Business Operations. Sponsorship commission will be calculated from sponsorship funds actually received by the organization. Commission eligibility, payment timing and any excluded or preexisting accounts will be governed by the individual's written compensation agreement. Reimbursement for business expenses only when approved in advance by the Team President orCEO. POSITION EXPECTATIONS
This is a part-time, seasonal leadership position. It is not expected to provide full-time employment or benefits. The selected individual must be responsive, dependable and available for scheduled meetings, home games and major organizational events. Continued service and any future compensation arrangements will be based on performance, organizational needs and available resources.Work Location:
