JOB SUMMARY
The General Manager is the driving force behind the success of Lion's Share, overseeing all aspects of daily operations, financial performance, and team leadership. This role demands a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who can balance operational excellence with an unwavering commitment to hospitality. As General Manager, you will set the tone for service, maintain financial discipline, and cultivate a culture of professionalism and excellence. You will lead the front-of-house teams, ensuring seamless coordination, strong team morale, and an unparalleled guest experience
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring accountability and professionalism at all levels. Foster a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and excellence while setting clear expectations and goals. Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and training of FOH staff, maintaining the highest service standards. Set and maintain exceptional service standards, ensuring consistency across all shifts. Act as the face of the restaurant, engaging with guests, addressing concerns, and cultivating long-term relationships. Oversee all FOH and BOH service operations, ensuring seamless coordination between teams. Lead pre-shift meetings to align staff on daily priorities, VIP guests, and service expectations.
WHO YOU AREHEALTH & SAFETYEXPERIENCEWORK ENVIRONMENT
Manage and resolve guest feedback and service issues promptly and professionally. Develop and oversee financial strategies to optimize revenue, manage costs, and maximize profitability. Analyze and report on P&L statements, sales trends, labor costs, and operating expenses to ownership. Oversee vendor relationships, inventory, and purchasing to ensure cost-effective and high-quality sourcing. Ensure all financial and operational decisions align with the restaurant's long-term goals. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, health codes, and safety regulations. Maintain up-to-date ServSafe and alcohol-handling certifications for the entire team. Handle HR matters such as scheduling, conflict resolution, and compliance with workplace policies. Work alongside the Chef de Cuisine and Beverage Director to refine menu offerings, service execution, and overall guest experience. Continuously assess operations, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency and innovation. A decisive and forward-thinking leader with a deep passion for hospitality. A strong communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Financially savvy, with a strong understanding of P&L management, cost control, and revenue growth strategies. Composed under pressure, with the ability to navigate high-stakes decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a relentless pursuit of operational excellence. Ensure compliance with all local and state health and safety regulations. Promote a culture of workplace safety and sanitation at all levels of the organization. Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience in high-end or fine-dining hospitality. Proven track record of financial management and operational success. Expertise in team development, guest experience, and restaurant performance metrics. Requires extended periods of standing and walking. Involves frequent reaching, bending, and lifting. Work hours include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
