Job Description

FIS OT Superintendent Position Summary The FIS OT Superintendent - is responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and continuous availability of OT/FIS systems across production environments. This role leads the operational support function for critical business applications built on .NET and SQL Server, ensuring seamless system performance, rapid incident resolution, and effective service continuity. This position serves as the primary owner of production support operations, coordinating across Development, Infrastructure, and OT functional areas to manage incidents, minimize downtime, and maintain system integrity. The role is responsible for driving incident management, root cause analysis, change control, and operational readiness for all FIS systems. A key focus of this role is to ensure that systems remain fully operational and performant in a 24/7 enterprise environment, while maintaining strong governance over IT assets, configurations, and compliance requirements. The Superintendent also plays a critical leadership role in guiding the support team, enforcing SLAs, and acting as an escalation point for high-severity production issues. Ultimately, this role ensures that OT/FIS platforms operate with maximum uptime, controlled risk, and consistent service quality, enabling business continuity and operational efficiency across the organization. Main Duties and Responsibilities Lead and manage production support operations for FIS/OT systems to ensure high availability and service continuity. Oversee and prioritize incident management (P1/P2/P3), ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business impact. Conduct and coordinate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and drive corrective and preventive actions. Act as the primary escalation point for production issues across .NET applications, SQL Server databases, and infrastructure components. Ensure compliance with SLA, uptime, and system availability targets, monitoring operational performance continuously. Manage and govern change management processes, ensuring safe deployment of changes into production environments. Coordinate with Development, Infrastructure, and OT teams to ensure system stability, downtime management, and operational readiness. Required Skills and KnowledgeTechnical Skills DB management (SQL) Understand API & Integrations Basic to intermediate Windows Server administration Incident Management (P1 / P2 / P3 handling) Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Downtime management (planned and unplanned outages) IT asset lifecycle management (hardware/software) Leadership & Operational Management Leadership of technical support teams Decision-making during critical production incidents Ability to work under pressure in production-critical environments Prioritization of high-severity incidents Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Problem-solving in complex distributed environments Communication & Documentation Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Incident reporting and executive summaries Documentation of processes, issues, and resolutions Operational Focus Strong focus on system stability and uptime over feature delivery

$88,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
