  • Contract Position
  • We are seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist (Supplier & Material Quality Operations Specialist) to support supplier quality, material release, and compliance activities within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for ensuring suppliers, vendors, and incoming materials meet cGMP requirements while partnering cross-functionally with Supply Management, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Manufacturing teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage supplier qualification activities and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL) Review and release incoming materials for commercial production Evaluate material defects and support material disposition decisions Review and approve supplier-related deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and quality documentation Support supplier investigations, risk assessments, and quality agreements Provide quality oversight for supplier, internal, and regulatory audits Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations Apply Quality Risk Management (QRM) principles to support sound quality decisions
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance , Quality Control, Supplier Quality, or a related regulated industry Experience in Material Quality Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, ICH, USP, EP, and JP requirements Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk assessment skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related field preferred Up to 20% travel Work is primarily office-based with occasional time spent in manufacturing, warehouse, or laboratory environments requiring
