Job Description

Job Summary A well-established and rapidly growing electrical contractor in North San Diego County is seeking an experienced Construction Contracts Administrator for an immediate temporary assignment in Escondido, CA. This onsite role will support the Legal Department and work closely with the Director of Legal, Project Managers, Estimators, and executive leadership on contract review, negotiation, compliance tracking, and risk management for commercial and public works construction projects. This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented contracts professional who enjoys working in a busy, collaborative construction environment with supportive leadership and direct exposure to senior decision-makers. The company offers a stable project pipeline, a team-focused culture, and the opportunity to contribute to complex construction projects while supporting legal, operations, and project teams. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with construction contracts, subcontract agreements, owner contracts, vendor agreements, insurance requirements, bonding documentation, and claims-related matters. Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze owner contracts, subcontract agreements, vendor contracts, and related construction documents to identify risk and recommend revisions.
  • Partner with legal, project management, estimating, and operations teams to coordinate contract negotiations, modifications, correspondence, and approvals.
  • Track contract revisions, execution status, compliance requirements, deadlines, and documentation in organized contract management systems.
  • Compile and maintain legal and compliance documentation, including bonds, certificates of insurance, public works forms, and federal contract documentation.
  • Support claims management activities involving payment disputes, mechanic's liens, stop notices, foreclosure actions, disputes, and other legal matters.
  • Communicate contract status, risk issues, deadlines, and compliance requirements to internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay Rate:
    $40 to $45 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Annualized Equivalent:
    $90,000 to $95,000.
  • Job Type:
    Contract/Temporary.
  • Assignment Length:
    Minimum 3 months, with potential for extension based on business needs.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Work Arrangement:
    100% onsite in Escondido, CA.
  • Local North San Diego County candidates are strongly preferred.
