Job Description
Description A growing tech company in Fremont, CA is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join the Legal team. This role will provide day-to-day support to the General Counsel and help facilitate the contract lifecycle across the organization. The position will have primary responsibility for contract intake, tracking, routing, execution, organization, and renewal management, while also assisting with first-pass review of agreements, especially nondisclosure agreements (NDAs). The Contracts Administrator will work across a wide range of company agreements and partner closely with internal stakeholders including sales, procurement, finance, HR, operations, and business leadership to help ensure contracts are processed efficiently and maintained accurately. Key Responsibilities + Support the General Counsel with administration of the company's contract lifecycle management process from request through execution, storage, and renewal tracking + Serve as a central point of contact for contract intake, status updates, document routing, signature coordination, and follow-up with internal stakeholders + Conduct first-pass review of standard agreements, with a particular focus on NDAs, using approved templates, playbooks, and escalation guidelines + Prepare, revise, format, and distribute contracts and related legal documents for review and execution + Maintain organized contract files, databases, trackers, and electronic records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and accessibility + Monitor key contract dates, including renewals, expirations, notice periods, and other obligations, and proactively alert stakeholders + Assist with administration of all agreement types across the company, including customer, vendor, partner, procurement, consulting, and confidentiality agreements + Help identify nonstandard terms and route issues to the General Counsel or appropriate legal team member for further review + Track contract status and generate reports related to volume, turnaround times, renewals, and outstanding items + Support process improvement initiatives for legal operations, contract workflows, templates, and recordkeeping practices + Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect required information and ensure timely completion of agreements + Assist with legal templates, signature packets, and document version control + Support audits, compliance requests, and internal document retrieval as needed + Perform other legal administrative and contract support duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications + 3-5+ years of experience in contracts administration or a related role + Experience supporting contract lifecycle processes in an in-house legal department + Familiarity with reviewing and processing NDAs and other standard business agreements + Strong administrative, organizational, and document management skills + Ability to manage multiple agreements and deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail + Comfortable working with contract management systems, document repositories, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to work on-site on a full-time basis in Fremont, CA Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
