Job Description

The successful candidate will be a key part of the Infrastructure Development team and will be responsible for the management and development of the Lease Administration team. In addition, this role will own the oversight and continuous improvement of all lease administration critical functions, to include: abstraction and lease data, all lease financial obligations, cost optimization, lease compliance, and due diligence all while collaborating closely with cross functional teams like Real Estate, Construction, Design, Workplace, Finance and Legal to maintain efficient operations and support Tesla's rapid expansion. The right candidate will demonstrate a senior level of competence, understanding the full range of lease administration in an extremely fast paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity and minimal direct oversight.
Team Leadership and Supervision :
Lead and manage a team of lease administrators, assigning tasks, providing training, evaluating performance, and driving continuous process improvements and efficiencies
Financial, Reporting and Analysis :
Review and approve payments of all lease related expenses; oversee tenant allowance billings and collections; and oversee security deposit collections for closed locations. Prepare regular reports on lease-related financial data, including rent roll analysis, and lease liabilities. Identify and communicate potential financial risks associated with lease obligations
Lease Portfolio Management :
Manage and maintain a comprehensive database of all lease agreements across the company's NA, LATAM, and APAC real estate portfolio. Monitor critical dates including lease expirations and renewal timelines. Analyze lease terms and identify potential cost savings or optimization opportunities
Compliance and Contract Administration :
Monitor tenant compliance with lease terms, including rent payments, possession, and maintenance obligations. Address lease-related disputes and coordinate with legal counsel when necessary
Stakeholder Management :

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
