Contract Coordinator Job Description The Contract Coordinator supports the full lifecycle of customer orders by reviewing purchase orders, coordinating contract-related activities, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role explains and promotes company products, prepares documentation and plans to support commercial and federal compliance requirements, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues. The position requires strong organizational skills, independent judgment, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for long-term growth and performance-based bonuses. Responsibilities Understand and clearly explain company products to current and potential customers in a professional and accurate manner. Review customer purchase orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company policies and product offerings. Provide drawings and other product media to assist customers in understanding specifications, features, and application details. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and organized product files to support efficient customer service and internal coordination. Support customer requests related to invoice issues by researching, troubleshooting, and helping resolve billing questions or discrepancies. Prepare Small Business subcontracting plans in accordance with applicable requirements and internal standards. Gather and organize data in support of commercial assertions and other contract-related documentation. Prepare company-wide responses to customer requests for assessments, coordinating input from relevant departments as needed. Coordinate customer requirements with other cross-functional departments to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment. Address and help resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Customarily and regularly exercise independent discretion and judgment on significant matters related to all job responsibilities. Adapt to evolving business needs, performing additional duties as assigned as responsibilities may change over time. Essential Skills Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Knowledge of customer service processes and operational methods. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple job functions simultaneously and manage competing priorities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively establishing priorities. Strong organizational skills to manage documentation, data, and customer information effectively. Experience with customer service, including resolving customer complaints and concerns. Experience with purchase order review and basic contract review activities. Familiarity with invoicing processes and supporting resolution of invoice issues. Ability to coordinate customer requirements with cross-functional departments. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of federal government compliance requirements. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to analyze sales data and provide insights to support commercial decisions. Some experience or knowledge in reviewing contracts and related documentation. Comfort working with data and supporting commercial assertions. Interest in long-term career growth within a stable organization. Work Environment This role is based onsite at the company's headquarters in Glendale. You will work in a professional office environment that collaborates closely with cross-functional teams such as customer service, finance, and manufacturing. Standard business hours typically apply, with expectations of responsiveness to customer needs during the workday. The environment emphasizes stability, long-term growth, and performance, with eligibility for a monthly bonus upon conversion to full-time employment. The setting supports focused individual work as well as regular interaction with colleagues to coordinate customer requirements and contract-related activities. Professional business attire appropriate for an office and customer-facing role is expected. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
