Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Junior RFP/RFQ Coordinator to join our government contracts team specializing in security services. In this pivotal role, you will support the preparation, review, and management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to secure government contracts. Your proactive approach will help ensure compliance with federal regulations, streamline document workflows, and foster strong vendor relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in procurement, contract management, and government procurement processes within a dynamic environment committed to excellence and strategic growth. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and submission of RFPs and RFQs by gathering necessary documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring adherence to client specifications. Manage document workflows using systems such as Salesforce, DocuSign, ERP platforms like PeopleSoft, and other contract management tools to maintain accurate records. Review contractual documents for compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR), UCC law, and other applicable legal standards; collaborate with legal teams on contract drafting and revisions. Support vendor management activities by maintaining vendor records, conducting research on potential suppliers, and assisting in negotiations to secure favorable terms. Monitor contract lifecycle stages including procurement, change management, and contractor management to ensure timely renewals or amendments. Assist in proposal writing, pricing strategies, and technical documentation to enhance business development efforts. Conduct research on industry best practices related to procurement, intellectual property law, and compliance management to improve processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; relevant experience in procurement or contract administration is preferred. Familiarity with government contracting procedures including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and UCC law. Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, document review, and records management systems. Experience with contract negotiation strategies and legal drafting is advantageous. Proficiency with Salesforce, ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or similar platforms; experience with DocuSign is a plus. Excellent research skills combined with strategic planning capabilities for proposal development and business growth initiatives. Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and external vendors; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
