In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, craft persuasive narratives, and ensure compliance with all contractual and funding requirements. Responsibilities Lead the endtoend proposal process, including research, writing, editing, and submission related to environmental and engineering consulting projects, applications and contract proposals. Organize, update and maintain marketing library. Collaborate with technical leads, sales, and operations teams to develop win themes, differentiators, and strategic technical approaches. Facilitate proposal kickoff meetings, manage schedules, track deliverables, and integrate input from scientists, engineers, and consultants. Develop clear, persuasive proposals that align with funder priorities and organizational objectives. Manage databases and CRM tools to track proposal progress and maintain accurate records. Conduct thorough research on potential funding sources, contractual opportunities, and industry trends to inform proposal strategies. Ensure all proposals meet compliance standards, including legal requirements related to contracts and funding guidelines. Proofread and edit proposal documents for clarity, accuracy, and professionalism while maintaining a consistent voice across all materials. Oversee contract management processes to ensure timely renewal, amendments, and adherence to contractual obligations. Ensure strict compliance with all RFQ/RFP requirements, including technical specifications, submission formats, and regulations (e.g., SF330 for federal proposals). Support program development through strategic planning initiatives that align with funding opportunities. Develop marketing materials, including Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), brochures, and website content. Attend conferences and industry events. Required Skills Strong understanding of contracts management and compliance standards. Proficiency in various databases for tracking proposal activities. Extensive experience in RFQ/RFI proposal writing and technical writing tailored to environmental engineering, remediation, and regulatory compliance consulting. Excellent research skills to identify new opportunities and analyze industry trends. Superior editing, proofreading, and writing skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to craft compelling narratives for grant proposals and funding requests that resonate with funders. Strategic thinker with strong planning skills to align proposals with organizational goals. Must Have Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related technical field.
Experience:
Proven experience (often 5+ years) in proposal management, specifically within environmental, engineering, or remediation consulting services.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with hazardous waste remediation, environmental planning, or federal/state contracting regulations.
Software Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Cloud/InDesign.
Competencies:
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills; strong project management and organizational skills.
