Data Governance Specialist - Customer (Contract)#26-20031 $62.86-$66.86 per hour Pleasanton, CA Onsite Job Description Our client, a American Multinational Clothing and Accessories Retailer company, is looking for a Data Governance Specialist - Customer (Contract) for their Pleasanton, CA location.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain supply chain master data (Product, Vendor, Inventory, Location, etc.). Monitor and improve data quality by identifying and resolving data issues. Define and enforce data standards, business rules, and governance processes. Partner with Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and IT teams to support business needs. Document data definitions, processes, and governance procedures. Support data-related audits and compliance requirements. Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure reliable reporting and insights. Participate in data governance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Improve and maintain customer data quality (accuracy, completeness, consistency) Apply and enforce data governance policies, standards, and rules Maintain data catalog, metadata, and data lineage Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Data Governance, Master Data Management, or Data Analytics. Understanding of supply chain processes such as Inventory, Procurement, Logistics, and Planning. Able to communicate and present effectively to C Suite leadership Experience working with Data Governance tools like Alation, Atlan, Collibra is plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Excel, SQL, or data analysis tools is preferred.
