No Job Description We're looking for a Contract Specialist who is excited to support Ridgecrest Regional Hospital at the intersection of contractual agreements and healthcare regulations. In this role, you'll help ensure vendor agreements, medical device purchases, payer agreements, and employment contracts align with applicable federal and state healthcare laws. You'll also support the Chief Financial Officer with administrative and regulatory reporting requirements. We value exceptional attention to detail, strong organization, integrity, clear communication, and the ability to present complex information in an understandable way. Key Responsibilities Develop, review, and manage contracts, RFPs, bids, amendments, renewals, and closeouts to protect the organization's interests. Ensure agreements comply with applicable healthcare laws, regulations, internal policies, and contractual requirements. Negotiate pricing, deliverables, and terms with vendors, suppliers, and clients. Identify and address potential legal, financial, operational, and regulatory risks within contracts. Monitor contract performance and manage the lifecycle of business and financial agreements. Administer and maintain the contract management system and complete, organized contract records. Develop contract management procedures and process contract modifications as needed. Provide administrative and regulatory reporting support to the CFO. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or relevant experience. Five (5) years of experience in contract management or a related field. Knowledge of healthcare contract law or similar relevant experience. Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) credential preferred. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to conduct oneself with integrity and treat others fairly. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language.
