This role will offer you the following daily challenges: On the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program, Supply Chain is a key driver in providing buy component responsible for approximately 50% of the program hardware development subcontracts totaling two billion dollars of supplier value. The subcontractors we manage are vital in supporting design, build and deployment of the next step forward in national security detecting, tracking and destroying incoming intercontinental ballistic missiles in space before they reach American soil. This Subcontract Program Management (SPM) Senior Staff position will be assigned to the Operations & Sustainment (O&S) Integrated Product Team (IPT) and be responsible for managing one of the key suppliers supporting that IPT. In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities: Responsible for leading the Subcontract Management Team (SCMT) for the assigned hardware and subcontractor. Overall responsible for the cost, schedule and technical execution of the assigned subcontractor. Is expected to actively manage the supplier in delivering hardware on budget and schedule and develop and implement correction actions when necessary. Will directly support the O&S IPT Leader or their delegate that the subcontract supports on a day to day basis. Responsible for providing status reporting as required and supporting the overall IPT business rhythm Will also support NGI Subcontract Team Leadership as directed. Responsible for providing status reporting as required and supporting NGI Supply Chain business rhythm Will be directly responsible for leading the assigned SCMT supporting all proposal efforts for the NGI production program. Some (up to 30%) travel to the customer and subcontractor locations is required. ## Basic Qualifications ---
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- 7+ years overall experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a combination of subcontract and/or program management.
- 2+ years of overall experience in working with large (over $50M) subcontractors.
- 1+ years of CAM or EVM related experience
- Technical knowledge of missile or ground support system products.
- You will need to be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ## Desired Skills
- 3 years of current experience on large cost plus government programs
- Control Account Management certification
- Experience with managing all contract types: Cost Plus, Incentive Fee, Firm Fixed Price
- Proven record of managing and delivering critical, large subcontract products, with focus on complex development subcontracts to deliver on time and within budget
- Ability to develop strong supplier relationships and positively supplier performance
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
